VHCDC today assisted some Washington, D.C. residents to create and launc their their very own investment club (partnership). The Distinguished Investment Group was organized by member partners Andrea Christie, Melody Cooper, Paul Daley, Eladia Garces-Guy, Desiree Heyliger, Alicia Hetzner, Clarinda Risher, and Fatima Williams and local small businesses Ambrose, LLC and Taste of Chad, LLC.
The member partners meet monthly to learn the mechanics of investing, identify and discuss potential investment opportunities, and pool their funds to buy and hold a portfolio of growth, aggressive growth, and income producing investments. VHCDC provided technical assistance to help organize the group and conducted monthly training to help member partners learn the basics of investing.
