VHCDC today hosted the first of two workshops focusing on small business accounting and finance for new business owners and young companies. In this workshop, participants explored business formation, bookkeeping, financial statements, and income, payroll, and sales tax reporting. Emphasize was on the most important aspects of small business accounting.
Forty (40) Hampton Roads aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners participated in the workshop that was conducted by VHCDC partner Premier Small Business Solutions, LLC and sponsored by the City of Suffolk, Department of Economic Development.
