General
Description |
|
Individual(s) will assist
VHCDC staff to research, design/develop, and implement a
variety of marketing, outreach, and visibility strategies,
including the design and development of Internet
applications, graphic design, blogs, and initiatives that
support business development and online fundraising
activities. |

Required
Skills |
|
Individuals
must have a solid work ethic, strong willingness to learn,
sense of urgency, and Coursework and experience in computer
programming, databases, networking, or website design. Must have excellent
communication skills (oral and written), strong proficiency
with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Word), Adobe applications
(Acrobat, Cold Fusion, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator,
InDesign, and PhotoShop), and exceptional
knowledge and experience with current, popular Internet applications, online
media, and web portals/communities. Individuals must be
self-motivated, highly organized, and able to meet
deadlines. |

Interns will
work directly with VHCDC staff and business development
clients to design, develop, and implement Internet
applications, websites, and other content focusing on
marketing, outreach, education, and visibility. Interns may have multiple
assignments throughout the year and may receive tuition
assistance, stipends, and course credit, where available. |
