General
Description |
|
Individual(s) will assist
VHCDC staff to research, design, develop, and implement a
variety of fundraising initiatives to enable and support our
business and housing development goals. |

Required
Skills |
|
Individuals
must have a solid work ethic, strong willingness to learn,
sense of urgency, and Upper/mid coursework in public
administration, social work, or business. Must have excellent
communication skills (oral and written), strong proficiency
with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Word) and exceptional
knowledge and experience with Internet applications, online
media, and web portals. Individuals must be
self-motivated, highly organized, and able to meet
deadlines. |

Interns will
work directly with VHCDC staff and leadership to develop
fundraising initiatives that stimulate community investment
in next-generation housing and business development. This is
an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in
non-profit development, grant-writing, and program
development. Interns may have multiple
assignments throughout the year and may receive tuition
assistance, stipends, and course credit, where available. |
