VHCDC-MBE Capital Connect™ seeks qualified, motivated individuals for the position of Marketing Representative/Account Executive, an authorized representative of VHCDC-MBE Capital Connect™.  The successful candidates will recommend VHCDC’s programs, products, and services to potential clients and use his/her/its best effort(s) to solicit and refer as clients to VHCDC those individuals and entities it firmly believes are suitable and appropriate for the programs, products, and services offered by VHCDC.  The Marketing Representative/Account Executive shall also make periodic contact with referred clients, at least annually, to assist referred clients in understanding the programs, products, and services of VHCDC and to obtain and/or to update client information and forward the same to VHCDC.  All solicitation activities shall be limited to a description and explanation of VHCDC services and fees and charges and the gathering of certain client financial information.  The Marketing Representative/Account Executive shall be an independent contractor and not an employee of VHCDC.

Excellent communication skills, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Word) and exceptional proficiency and experience with Internet applications, online media, and popular web portals/communities.  Individuals must possess general business knowledge, evidenced by mid- and upper-level coursework in business administration (accounting, finance, management, and marketing) and/or extensive work experience. VHCDC seeks individuals with a solid work ethic, strong willingness to learn, and sense of urgency. Individuals must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines.
