Virginia Housing and Community Development Corporation (VHCDC) seeks to assist disadvantaged minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) within our target communities.  Our programs, currently under design and development, will focus on:

• Providing Equity Grants and Equity Matching Grants to disadvantaged MWBEs located within in our target communities;
   

• Providing business counseling, consulting, management and business intervention, capital, and networks critical to the sustainability and growth of MWBEs located within our target communities;
   

• Providing an environment for the cultivation, development, nurturing, and growth of entrepreneurial intellectual capital in a flexible, shared use environment located within our target community;
   

• Providing opportunities for community investment in MWBEs through community venture funds aimed at creating small business opportunities and jobs within our target communities; and,
   

• Providing education and training opportunities for MWBEs within our target communities that enable business creation, growth, and expansion.
